Ginger Faye Read of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, she was 59 years old.
Miss Read was born July 30, 1963 in Nashville to the late Charles “Aubrey” Read and Eleanor Jeanette Cavender Read.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by grandparents, Grover and Mary Cavender; uncle Jessie Clayton “J.C.” Cavender; aunt, Freda Coleman; and adoptive mother, Carrie Louise Bennett.
She is survived by uncle, Tom Coleman; cousins, Chara Branam (William), Jada Trail (Johnny), and Bree Coleman; and adoptive sisters, Patricia, Connie, Donna, and Eva.
She was a resident of Signature Health Care of Portland.
Funeral Service will be Friday, August 26th in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Johnny Trail officiating. Interment will be Friday, August 26th at 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Potter Children’s Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
