David Lee Cagle, 76 of Portland, Tn, passed away, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence; Mr. Cagle was born January 26, 1949 in Knoxville, Tn., to the late Hudon Marcus Cagle and Bertie Marie Turner Cagle.
Along with his parents, Mr. Cagle was preceded in death by 2 brothers; 1 sister; and children, Tanya Adcox, Frank Lokey and Dawn Key.
Mr. Cagle is survived by his wife, Dora Cagle; daughter, Lori Cagle; grandchildren, Chrystal Lokey, Derek Barnes, Caleb (C.J.) McMurtry, Peyton Adcox and Aryana Holt; great-grandchildren, Gavin Upchurch, Kelan Barnes, Rylee Adcox; sisters, JoAnn Blades, Mary Cagle and Vera Thomas.
Funeral service for Mr. Cagle will be on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Elder David Andrews officiating, with visitation on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. funeral time.
Following the funeral service, interment for Mr. Cagle will be in Old Brush Cemetery with Bro. Brian Gilberth closing in a scripture and prayer.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lori Cagle, Derek Barnes, Caleb McMurtry, Peyton Adcox, Todd Clark, Chrystal Lokey, Gavin Upchurch and Jess Birdwell, with Dale Inc. serving as honorary pallbearers.
