OBITUARY: JoAnn Wheeley

Mrs. JoAnn Bringle Wheeley, age 89, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Knollwood Manor.

Funeral Services for JoAnn Wheeley are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jason Wheeley officiating. Interment will follow in The Haysville Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 6 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

She is preceded in death by:

• Husbands, Carrol Wheeley and Ed Abney;
• Parents, Boris Bringle and Lois Oldham Bringle;
• Brothers, Bobby Bringle and Johnny Bringle.

JoAnn Wheeley is survived by:

• Daughter, Mary Qualls;
• Grandchildren, Heather Rollin and husband, Todd; Corey Newberry and wife, Misty; Keith Newberry and wife, Whitney;
• Great-Grandchildren, Caleb Newberry, Katherine Newberry, Abigail Rollin, Rylee Butler, Mason Basford;
• Sister, Toby Slaughter.
