Mr. David Allen Collins of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, he was 59 years old.
Mr. Collins was born May 7, 1963 in Paducah, KY to the late Charles Collins and Lois York Collins.
He is survived by sisters, Karen Stephens of Calvert City, KY, Debbie Harper of Benton, KY, and Sandye Miller of Benton, KY; brother, Wayne Collins of Mayfield, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Collins was a school teacher with the Sumner County Board of Education for over 20 years, teaching at Howard Elementary, Gallatin High School, and Station Camp High School.
In addition, he was a piano teacher and sang opera at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera House.
There will be a Gathering of Friends at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Station Camp High School Music Program, 1040 Bison Trail, Gallatin, TN 37066.
