Dale Ward (Toby) Eldridge was born on November 29, 1941 and passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.
He grew up in Arizona, attended Glendale High School. Dale entered the U.S. Army, serving our country in Germany as a military police officer.
Dale was a long time resident of Hendersonville, TN. He served the citizens as a patrol officer and Sergeant on the Hendersonville Police Force. He later moved to Westmoreland, TN and retired from Thomas and Betts in Portland, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Fortson and Nannie Elizabeth (Yates) Eldridge and five siblings.
He is survived by daughters, Ragen (New Mexico), Michelle, and Sherry of Hendersonville; sons, Troy (Arizona) and Ricky of Hendersonville; one sister, Cathy Sanders (Florida); one brother, Daniel Eldridge in Franklin, TN; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, March 24th, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:30 pm at Wilkinson and Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland, TN. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Eldridge at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Hwy 52 in Orlinda, TN.
