Cynthia Gail Byrom, 73 of Portland, Tn, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her residence. Mrs Byrom was born February 22, 1952 to the late Fredie Lee Hudgins and Hodges Lenora Pearl Hudgins.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Byrom was preceded in death by her son, Allen Short; brother, Michael Hudgins; sisters, Terry Biggs and Judy Smith.
Mrs. Byrom is survived by her husband, Matt Byrom; children, Jennifer Short, Dena Sanders (Todd) and Rick Short (Angela); brother, Fred Hudgins; sister, Paulette Fisher; brother, Bruce Hudgins; grandchildren, Brian Short, Kayla Goodwin, Michael Woodard, Emily Machucha, Amanda Machucha, Trey Short, Sammie Short, Sydney Short; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Goodwin, Xander Romas, Lana Way, Presley and Penelope Machuca.
Funeral service for Mrs. Byrom will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Booker officiating with visitation on Tuesday from 10:30 am until 3 p.m. funeral time at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clinton Fisher, Bud Bollinger, Andy Lincoln, Brian Short, Justin Pierce, Aryn Goodwin, Donald Lincoln, Jonathon Gillaspie with Michael Woodard and Bruce Hudgins serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
