Bertie Louise Brister, age 94 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, July 22nd from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Friday, July 23rd from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
Miss Brister was born September 29, 1926 in Sumner County to the late Arthur Brister, Sr. and Hassie Hutchson Brister.
IN addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Charles Homer Brister; and sisters, Lina Gable, Dorothy Claridy, and Myrtle Ezell.
She is survived by brother, Arthur “Buddy” Brister (Brenda) of Gallatin; and sisters, Irene Berry of Gallatin and Katherine Gregory of Gallatin. She was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church.
