Barbara ‘Bobbie’ Pitre Lambert walked through the Gates of Heaven on the morning of November 7th, 2024. She was 79 years old. Born in New Orleans, LA, on April 30, 1945, Barbara owned and operated BJ’s Restaurant in Westwego, LA for many years.
Barbara was a dearly loved mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family fiercely and leaves behind a lifetime of memories, traditions, joy, and most importantly a legacy of faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus. Barbara touched the lives of countless people over the years through her generous spirit and desire to make the world a better place for people. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of kindness will live on through her daughter and granddaughters.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. Pitre Sr. and Norma S. Pitre, as well as her brothers Raymond J Pitre Jr., Ronald J. Pitre, and Rickey D. Pitre.
Barbara is survived by her daughter and son in law Cassandra and Leslie Foret, Jr., her beloved granddaughters Kaitlyn A. Foret and Isabella A. Foret, and her sister and sister-in-law Lisa Guidry and Ruby Pitre, special niece Jessica Pitre, her godchildren Rebecca Romero and Christopher Pitre, her favorite boy, Alexander J. Moore, as well as many nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
