Virginia Mongle, age 85 of Portland, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024.
Mrs. Mongle was born September 26, 1939 in Sumner County to the late David Bradley and Novella Casteel Bradley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William A. Mongle; brothers, Roy Bradley and Wayne Bradley; and sister, Wilma Conyer.
She is survived by sons, Troy Mongle (Lisa) of Portland and Stacy Mongle of Portland; grandchildren, Joseph Allen Mongle (Amanda) and Jordon Lee Mongle; great-grandchildren, Riley Mongle, Bailey Mongle, and Easton Mongle; nieces; nephew; cousins; and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Bush’s Chapel Church of Christ, with Bro. Jonathan England officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin and Friday, November 15th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Bush’s Chapel Cemetery, with Sandy Bradley, Steve Bradley, Matt Bradley, Justin Bradley, Clint Rider, and Jeff Conyer serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bush’s Chapel Church of Christ, c/o Charles Hesson, 1995 Old Gallatin Road, Portland, TN 37148.
