Audrey Janet Daniel McGee, age 96 of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. She was born in Linden, Perry County, Tennessee on October 30, 1929 to the late George Dewey Daniel and Ruth Marie Pace Daniel. Audrey grew up in Madison, Tennessee, and graduated from Isaac Litton High School. She worked for Dupont, and Cumberland Electric. She was President of the Gallatin Jaycettes. She went to work at her family business McGee Florist in 1966 and helped run the business until it closed in 2004. She was very active in Central TN Florists’ Professional Association. She enjoyed traveling with her ladies group from Gallatin Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was also preceded in death by her husband Will H. “Pete” McGee and brother, Howard Daniel. She is survived by her daughter, Jennie (Jeff) Hall; grandchildren, Dillon Hall, Elijah (Antonina) Hall, and Olivia Hall; great-grandchildren, Adrian and Elias Garcia.
Visitation will be at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin on Tuesday July 28 from 4-7 pm. Graveside service will be on Wednesday July 29 at 10 am at Crestview Memory Gardens.
