May 10, 2024 – On May 1, 2024, the Hendersonville Police Department began an investigation that resulted in the arrest of Matthew Cody Ball (34) on May 2, 2024.
Mr. Ball was arrested for one count of Rape of Child and three counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery. Mr. Ball is currently confined in the Sumner County Jail with a composite bond of $200,000.
He is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on May 15, 2024, at 1000 hrs.
