Irlene Mandrell Named the Honorary Chair of Holidayfest for 2024-2025

The Board of Holidayfest has announced that Irlene Mandrell will be the Honorary chair for this year (2024-2025)!

Irlene Mandrell started her journey into the entertainment business as a drummer in the Mandrell Family band, and later rose to fame as an actress and model, working for brands such as CoverGirl, Lanne Skin Care products, and 9West shoes. Irlene Mandrell is the youngest of the three Mandrell sisters.

Her single “We Will Stand,” reached #1 on the Independent Country Charts in 2017 and was followed up with the 2018 top ten single “You Ain’t Nothin’ But aHeartache,” which held the charts for 16 weeks.

Irlene’s TV credits include her sharing the spotlight with sisters Barbara and Louise on NBC’s long running Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters Variety Show garnering over 40 million world-wide viewers per week.

She starred in Hee Haw during its last eight years in production and has appeared on many shows including The Tonight Show, The Oprah Winfrey show, The Love Boat; as well as co-hosting ‘Bright Lights and Country Nights, and “This week in Country Music.”

She has won two Comedy Act of the Year Awards, a NACMAI Award, and has her own star on the Country Music Walkway of Stars. Her 2018 Book, “God Rains Miracles” currently sits at #8 on Amazon’s Spiritual Seller list. Irlene is currently hosting her God Rains Miracle podcast and radio show.

HolidayFest, in its 19th year, brings together over 24 events for Sumner County, all benefiting local charities. This past year, the PIGFEST benefit’s Mary’s Magical Place, Christmas4Kids, and Live Love Nashville and Graces Place! The second year for Sumner Food and Wine is in September. The SparkleNoel Fashion Show benefits Parker Strong in November and the Appalachian Dinner benefitting project 22 and Special Needs. The Annual Santa Breakfast benefits Community Childcare Services and the Madgrial Dinners will benefit Hendersonville High School Choir.
