Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a house fire in Shackle Island this week, working together to battle the blaze and protect those inside.
Shackle Island Fire Department says crews were assisted by Gallatin Fire, White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, Gallatin Public Works, Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, Sumner County EMS, and Cottontown Fire Department. Officials noted that while the outcome was not what responders had hoped for, the coordinated effort and mutual aid were critical during the incident.
All family members and pets made it out of the home safely, and no injuries were reported among fire crews.
