Joe Dale Shoulders, age 46 of Hendersonville, TN passed away at home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was born on April 26, 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Joe was a mechanic and handyman for nearly 30 years. He also took pride in tattooing friends and family. He was not a man of worldly wealth, but he had a caring and giving spirit. Joe loved walking in the woods, making walking sticks from wood he found on these walks. He was a man of many talents.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Bryant Shoulders Jr.; brother, James Edward Shoulders; stepson, Jerry Wallace; grandparents, Mack and Olyne Johnson; and his beloved dog, Roscoe.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Copeland Shoulders; daughter, Melody Nicole Shoulders; step-daughters, Rachael Wallace and Brittany Keith; mother, Bonnie Fuhr and step-father, Richard Fuhr; brother, Neal Bryant Shoulders; sister and brother-in-law, Daphne and Dawayne Slunaker; adoring grandchildren, Stephan Lamont Shoulders, Alizabeth Keith, Christopher Keith, Ezekiel Wallace, Wynter Wallace, Lenix Danielson, Levi Danielson, and Lake Danielson; uncles, James Johnson and Harold Johnson; and nephew, James Ethan Shoulders.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date, with times and locations to be provided when available.
