The Hendersonville Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary that occurred late Sunday night on West Main Street.
On March 1, 2026, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a reported glass break alarm at a retail business in the 700 block of West Main Street. Upon arrival, officers observed that the front glass door had been shattered.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect used a claw hammer to break the glass door, entered the business, and removed more than $1,000 worth of merchandise before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a male approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black-and-white Nike Dunk-style shoes, and a white skull-pattern face covering.
Detectives are working to identify the individual and determine whether this incident may be connected to any similar offenses in the area.
