Clifford Dudley Adkins, 79 of Portland, Tn., passed away October 2, 2024; he was born October 26, 1944 to the late Dudley Hilman Adkins and Lizza Edith Mitchell Adkins.
Along with his parents, Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his daughter, Ursula Adkins; and brother, Michael Adkins.
Mr. Adkins is survived by his sisters, Sue Clinard, Lynn Rich(Timmy); children, Melinda Pitzer, Nancy Clem(Mike), Cliffors “Moose” Adkins(Lily), Dottie Gay(Daniel), Mary Elizabeth Mateer, Mary Gladness Groover; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Adkins on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Steve Warn officiating; visitation will be on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Serving as pallbearers will be Hilman Clinard, Jimmy Clinard, Matthew Flener, D.J. McKinney, Tom Adkins, Troy Adkins, Terry Adkins and Brian Law.
In lieu of flowers, the family to make donations to Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home to offset the funeral expense.
