Linda Faye Suttle, age 72, of Portland, passed away with her family by her side on September 25th, 2022 at Portland Tristar E.R.
Mrs. Suttle was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 7th, 1950 to the late John Elliott Greer & the late Thelma Reed Hinton-Greer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Suttle was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie & Ricky Greer; sister, Carol Hardin.
Mrs. Suttle is survived by her husband, Ronnie Suttle of Portland; daughter, Gina Lewis of Gallatin; son, Richard Suttle of Gallatin; grandsons, Jack & Cole Lewis of Gallatin; granddaughter, Katie (Thad) Creasy of Portland; siblings, Sue (Larry) Weaver of Portland, Martha (Tommy) Thompson of Portland, Glenda Trammel of Portland, Kenny (Debbie) Greer of Portland, Denny (Cookie) Greer of Portland, Bobby (Jenene) Greer of Portland, & Debbie (Kenneth) Link of Portland.
Linda loved her family more than anything. She was proud to be a wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She loved her home, the farm, where she and Ronnie lived. They had just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
Being a mother to Gina and Richard and Nana to Jack and Cole was the joy of her heart. Cooking and canning and doing for her family brought Linda such happiness.
Linda truly loved doing for others as well. She lived a full life doing many of her favorite things such as supporting our troops, especially the Air National Guard. She enjoyed watching anything Vanderbilt was playing in, her hummingbirds and their cows. She loved antique shopping with her sisters.
Her favorite saying was, “One day at a time.”
Funeral service for Mrs. Suttle will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Chaplain Rob Dunbar officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Suttle will be Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm & on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
Richard Suttle, Chris Greer, Christopher Greer, Matt Greer, Jack Lewis, & Cole Lewis will serve as pallbearers.
Tony Hardin & Mickey Stewart will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Franklin, KY.
