White House community leaders are kicking off this year’s Shop with a Cop & Firefighter event, a tradition that helps bring Christmas joy to underprivileged children. Hosted by the White House Rotary, the White House Police Department, and the White House Fire Department, the program pairs children with first responders for a holiday shopping experience they’ll remember for years.
Giving trees have been placed at several locations around town, including City Hall, the new Recreation Center, the Police Department, Fire Station 2, and the White House Inn Museum/Chamber of Commerce. Each ornament includes a QR code linking to the White House Rotary’s Venmo account for direct donations. Participants can also bring ornaments and donations to Josh White at The Farmers Bank on Highway 76.
Organizers are encouraging residents to help make the season brighter for local families in need.
