The City of White House recently honored City Administrator Jerry Herman as he officially retires after years of public service to the community.
During a recent meeting of the White House Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Mayor John Corbitt presented Herman with an official city proclamation recognizing his leadership, service, and lasting contributions to the city.
Herman served the City of White House in multiple leadership roles throughout his career, including chief of police before becoming city administrator.
City leaders credited Herman with helping guide White House through years of growth with a focus on public service, sound leadership, and the needs of residents. In a statement, the city thanked Herman for his dedication and the impact he made on the organization and community, noting that his leadership helped shape White House into the city it is today.
“On behalf of the employees of the City of White House and the residents we proudly serve, thank you, Jerry, for your dedication, guidance, and unwavering commitment to making White House a better place to live, work, and raise a family. Your leadership has left a lasting mark on our city, and your influence will continue to be felt for years to come,” the City of White House stated in a Facebook Post.
