We are looking at 2 rounds of weather this morning. The first will come through mid-morning and bring some lights and noise, but, nothing severe is expected. Then we catch a break mid-day. Mid-afternoon, another round comes through. This line’s severity will be dependent upon how much sun we get between the 2 rounds. The more heat the more unstable the atmosphere. The main threats this afternoon are for severe storms with 50-60 mph gusts and flooding.
We are proud to announce beginning tomorrow morning that Tabitha Bartoe, a meteorological student from Valparaiso University will be joining our staff with weather forecast videos twice a day and updated severe weather updates. Up to the minute updates can also be found on our Facebook page and Twitter.
