From Hendersonville Police on February 24, 2023:
On February 6, 2021, Hendersonville Police began receiving reports of burglaries that had occurred in the area of Sumner Meadows in the city of Hendersonville.
Detectives responded and noted three attempted residential burglaries and numerous vehicle burglaries. While processing the vehicles for evidence, items were recovered from the vehicles that were then submitted to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for analysis.
Joshua Greer (26) was preliminarily identified as a suspect in the investigation and police began searching for him. Greer eventually came forward and investigators were able to obtain the necessary DNA samples for comparison.
On January 18, 2023, final results were obtained and on February 2, 2023, Detectives were able to obtain warrants for 3 counts of Aggravated Burglary against Joshua Greer.
