Two Charged in Easter Shooting in Gallatin

April 21, 2025 – On the evening of April 20, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at 180 South Maple Ave.

The incident occurred during an Easter egg hunt and party hosted at the residence of 66-year-old Henry Apple, (AKA Skully), a deep-rooted Gallatin resident with a long history of narcotics trafficking and gang involvement. Apple has been charged with Simple Possession of Schedule VI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals had sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.

The suspect, 22-year-old Ladavious Williams, a long-time Gallatin resident and confirmed gang member, was located and taken into custody with the assistance of the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 122 South Ford Street. Williams has a lengthy history of criminal activity and has been charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Reckless Endangerment.

Investigators confirmed that alcohol and narcotics were present at the party, which was attended by numerous adults and children of all ages, all of whom are long-standing Gallatin residents.

Law enforcement would also like to thank Emergency Management Agency (EMA) personnel for their vital support during the search.
