On February 21, 2025, the Hendersonville Police Department was called concerning a suspicious person that was attempting to purchase gift cards with numerous declined credit cards. Police responded to the area and located two subjects, Brantley White (42) and Korin Moffett (31). White fled the area in his vehicle and was captured after being chased by police. White and Moffett were in possession of 32 credit cards and 14 gift cards that had been used to launder money from the credit cards.
White and Moffett were taken to the Sumner County Jail on the following charges.
- Bartley White – Felony Evading by Motor Vehicle, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Substance, Criminal Responsibility to Commit Money Laundering, Criminal Responsibility to Commit Identity Theft Trafficking
- Korin Moffett – Possession of Stolen Property Over $1,000, Attempted Theft of Property Under $1,000, Money Laundering, Identity Theft Trafficking
The Hendersonville Police Department collaborated with Metro Nashville Police, Metro Nashville Airport Authority, and several other agencies for additional crimes that were discovered to have occurred throughout the Middle Tennessee area. Additional charges are anticipated.
