Spring is just around the corner, and the Sumner County Master Gardeners are kicking off the growing season in the best way possible. The Seed Library 2026 Grand Opening is set for Saturday, March 21st at 10:30 AM at the Hendersonville Public Library (140 Sundersville Road, Hendersonville), and everyone is invited.
Whether you’ve been gardening for decades or you’re ready to plant your very first seed, this event is for you. The Master Gardeners of Sumner County, in partnership with the Hendersonville Public Library, are bringing the community together for a morning of free seeds, shared knowledge, and gardening inspiration — all at no cost.
The Seed Library has become a beloved local tradition, giving community members access to a wide variety of seeds to take home and grow throughout the season.
So mark your calendar, grab a friend, and head to the Hendersonville Public Library on March 21st to pick up your free seeds and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts in Sumner County. The 2026 growing season is almost here — and it’s going to be a great one.
