The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation raided the Millersville Police Department on Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation, News Channel 5 reports.
The search comes after years of controversy that led the former city manager, police chief, and fire chief to be terminated. TBI confirmed the search is part of an ongoing investigation but did not release any additional details on what led to the raid.
Agents also executed a separate search warrant at the home of the department’s assistant police chief Shawn Taylor, in White House. Agents and K-9 deputies were seen searching the property.
Although it is unclear what the agents were searching for, WTVF says questionable videos have been posted on Youtube where Taylor shows electronic equipment that he has utilized to pursue conspiracy theories.
