From Hendersonville Police on March 3, 2023:
On March 1, 2023, Hendersonville Police Officers conducted a vehicle check in the 1000 block of West Main St.
While speaking with the driver, Anthony Harp, it was determined Mr. Harp did not live at the apartment complex. The officers observed multiple bags, purses, and clothing items in the bed and cab of the truck. While interacting with Mr. Harp, Hendersonville Police discovered various IDs, credit cards, social security cards, and a 9mm handgun. The officers also found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Upon further investigation, it was confirmed that the gun and at least one of the IDs were from vehicle burglaries from other jurisdictions.
Anthony Harp was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, simple possession of schedule II, and drug paraphernalia.
This is still an active investigation.
