Board and Brush Creative Studio
Fall is right around the corner which means Board and Brush will be hosting a very fun make and take event! This is a kid-friendly event for all ages! This is a quick paint and stencil only project. You will be given a pre-stained early American or dark walnut set or board. Certain glitter and paint colors will be available. You will have 45 minutes to complete your project! Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the workshop starting!

Main Street Festival takes over downtown Gallatin with live music, vendors, and food. Families love this free event! Gallatin’s annual Main Street Festival has become a destination the first Saturday in October for not only the community, but also for vendors. The festival hosts over 200 vendors, local entertainment throughout the day, a large children’s area, and a food area for the community to purchase a meal and enjoy the event.

4Candlelight Cemetery Tour

Gallatin City Cemetery
The Candlelight Cemetery Tour in the Gallatin City Cemetery highlights notable people from Gallatin’s history via re-enactors and candlelight! Hear the historic stories of past Sumner County residents when actors in period clothing portray the deceased along illuminated pathways of the Historic Gallatin City Cemetery! Many of Sumner County’s most fascinating characters ended up in the cemetery, which is home to old-fashioned tombstones and towering memorials dating back to the first known burial in 1818. Come hear the life stories from those who lay to rest while following the candle-lit path through the cemetery.

5Zombi-fy Yourself

Painting with a Twist
With the help of the studio’s talented artists, you will create a one of a kind, spooky painting of yourself! Once you register, the studio will be reaching out for a selfie photo. This can be a regular selfie, or you can feel free to pose. They only need your shoulders and head. One of their artists will create a line sketch on your canvas to help you get started. You customize and paint it! Beginners welcome! Do not worry you will receive guidance and support from the talented studio artists! Please do not show up if you are an actual zombie, but feel free to dress the part!
