1Rock Castle Folk ‘n Bluegrass Fest

Enjoy some good-time music and community-focused fun at the 6th annual Folk n’ Bluegrass Fest at Historic Rock Castle.
Presented by Raymond James (Nashville Area Complex), The Owen Family Foundation, Half Batch Brewing, Sumner County Tourism, the City of Hendersonville, and Constellation New Energy, this year’s event will feature the original tunes of Boy Named Banjo, Appalachian Road Show, Junior Sisk, and the Debutants.

Folk ‘n Bluegrass Fest — 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
$10 / person at the gate (no advance ticket sale for the General Admission event)
General Admission tickets provide access to main stage folk and bluegrass performances, an assortment of food trucks (The Meat Sweats BBQ, Half Batch Brewing, Heavenly Snow & The Donut Truck), bounce houses, organized games for kids, and a series of Corn Hole, Sack Race, and (inflatable) Ax-Throwing Tournaments.
Halfter Party — 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Presented by Half Batch Brewing and Raymond James (Nashville Area Complex), Halfter Party tickets provide guests the full General Admission experience as well as access to two additional post-event performances in the whimsical Rock Castle woods. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and two Half Batch brews are also included in the $60 Halfter Party ticket price.
2Growing Spring Flowers From Seed Workshop
Saturday, September 14, 11am – 1pm
115 Public Square, Gallatin
Apple and Dove Flower Co & Farm is hosting an in-depth class on cultivating beautiful cold-hardy flowers. The event will cover everything from seed starting to proper care, and even how to dry your blooms. In this class, you’ll learn about Nigella, Sweet William, Bupluerum, Larkspur, Rudbeckia, Yarrow, Orlaya, Snapdragons, Sweet Peas, and Bachelor Buttons.
Each participant will receive seeds to start their own garden at home.
The cost for this comprehensive workshop is $75. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and bring the beauty of cold-hardy flowers to your garden.
