1Historic Hawthorn Hill Home Tour

On Saturday, November 9, Historic Castalian Springs will host a tour of the historic Hawthorn Hill home.
The circa 1805 brick Federal home is preserved as close to its original state as possible and is rarely open for tours. Original stenciling, paint, and plaster make you feel like you’ve entered a time capsule of 19th-century Middle Tennessee history. Tours are limited and only offered one Saturday a month – don’t miss out on this unique experience!

4Merry Market & Holiday Tinsel & Treasures

Merry Market Day at the Gallatin Farmers Market and the “Tinsel & Treasures” Holiday Merchant Open House Weekend takes place this weekend. The Merry Market takes place on Saturday, November 9th from 10am to 3pm at 160 W Franklin St. Local handmade crafts and artisan finds plus the last of the fall harvest will be available for purchase.
Live Music from local singer/songwriters will take place from 10am to 3pm.

Holiday Tinsel & Treasures “Shop Local” Weekend has been a Gallatin tradition for 53 years. Local retail merchants open their doors the 2nd weekend in November every year to shoppers allowing them the chance to start their Christmas shopping early. It is a great opportunity for Gallatin retail businesses to get a jump start on sales before Black Friday or Shop Local Saturday. This tradition continues this year on Friday, November 8th, Saturday, November 9th & Sunday, November 10th!
