1Winter Farmer’s Market at the Station

The Winter Farmers Market at the Station takes place this weekend. This is an extension of the popular Gallatin Farmers Market. At the market, you will find fresh produce, baked goods, honey, jams & jellies, herbs, goat milk products, pickles, eggs, homemade pet treats, gourmet popcorn, and locally grown plants.

You’ll also find gifts and home decor, featuring handmade artisan crafts from local makers.

There is also live music from 10am to 12pm.
The Winter Farmers Market is conveniently located at 117 W Main St, Gallatin, TN 37066, in the same building that houses the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce. Parking is available behind The Station and across the street at Gallatin City Hall.

2Decoupage Sunflower Box at The Artisan Hatchery

In this class you will learn the easy basic skills of decoupage and will leave with a lovely Sunflower box. The cost of the class is $45.00 and includes all supplies and hands-on instruction. No experience necessary.

3Nashville Zoo’s Zoolumination

The country’s largest lantern festival Zoolumination, presented by Anheuser-Busch, returns even brighter to Nashville Zoo this holiday season. The festival begins November 14, 2024, and runs through February 9, 2025. New this year, Nashville Zoo will have a brand-new ice rink for visitors to enjoy while they experience the glow of more than 1,000 authentic, custom-made silk lanterns. The Smashville Ice Rink is presented by Nashville Predators and in honor of American figure skater, Olympic gold medalist, and Nashville Zoo board member Scott Hamilton. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on Nashville Zoo’s website.

4Monthaven’s Night at the Opera

Monthaven has partnered with The Nashville Opera for an unforgettable Night at the Opera in the gorgeous and intimate galleries at Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center.

The lineup features Claire Paschal (soprano), Sara Crigger (mezzo-soprano), and Ryan Bede (baritone).

The evening’s program will include selections from two of the most beloved works by Gilbert & Sullivan: The Pirates of Penzance and H.M.S. Pinafore. These iconic operas, filled with humor, wit, and memorable melodies, promise to create a delightful and entertaining experience for all.

In addition to the performance, the evening will feature a gourmet dinner with wine pairings, making for an exquisite and immersive experience.
