2Stone Harmony’s Wildflower Walk

Join Stone Harmony for a peaceful and inspiring Wildflower Walk in the heart of Westmoreland! This free community event is a chance to reconnect with nature, admire the beautiful spring wildflowers, and enjoy the calming sound of nearby streams. Whether you’re a plant lover, nature enthusiast, or just need a moment to breathe in some fresh air, this walk is for you.
Participants will take a gentle stroll through scenic paths, pausing to admire blooms, flowing water, and maybe even spot a few woodland creatures. Come as you are—bring your water bottle, your walking shoes, and your sense of wonder. Families, friends, and solo walkers are all welcome.
3Sumner County Master Gardeners Plant Sale & Spring Festival

Saturday, April 12, 9am – 5pm
Hendersonville Memorial Park
151 E Main St, Hendersonville
This is the annual fundraiser for the Sumner County Master Gardeners Association, a non-profit group associated the University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension service that promotes gardening through education, environmental stewardship and volunteer projects throughout Sumner County.
Plant sale includes a large variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers, plus native plants, hot pepper varieties, seedlings and propogations grown by local Master Gardeners.
The festival includes art and crafts, and wildlife sessions led by certified Tennessee naturalists on beginning birding (10 a.m.), identifying native plants (noon) and how to become a citizen scientist (2 p.m.).

Plant sale proceeds help fund volunteer projects across the county and scholarships for students attending Volunteer State Community College. Projects include a demonstration garden at Vol State; raised vegetable and flower gardens at Shalom Zone in Gallatin; a Monarch butterfly waystation and pollinator garden at Hendersonville Public Library; community gardens in Goodlettsville, Portland and Westmoreland; and gardens at historic sites Mansker’s Station in Goodlettsville and Rock Castle in Hendersonville.

5Easter Bunny Returns to Opry Mills

Opry Mills announced the Easter Bunny has returned to visit with families as part of the Bunny Photo Experience. The Easter Bunny is available for visits until April 19, near Entry 2 between Coach and Ann Taylor.
The Bunny Photo Experience will be open daily, and reservations are strongly encouraged. For daily Bunny Photo hours and to make reservations, click here.
Opry Mills will also host events with the Easter Bunny this season including:
