A Sumner County correctional officer is being recognized for her professionalism and dedication to duty.
The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office has named Officer Jaclyn Wright as its February 2026 Officer of the Month. A member of Bravo Platoon, Wright has quickly made a positive impact since joining the agency.
According to supervisors, she consistently demonstrates vigilance and professionalism in carrying out her responsibilities. Command staff noted that she remains diligent in completing her assigned rounds, maintains a professional demeanor with both staff and inmates, and regularly reports to work prepared to perform her duties.
Agency leaders said her commitment to doing the job correctly reflects the standards and teamwork emphasized within the Sheriff’s Office.
