Sumner County Schools is inviting families to learn more about its Enhanced Option programs through upcoming informational meetings and school visits. The sessions are designed for students interested in Middle Technical College High School or Middle College High School—programs that allow juniors and seniors to earn college credit and industry certifications while completing high school.
Open house events are scheduled for:
- Middle College High School: November 3 at 6 p.m. at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin
- Middle Technical College High School: November 6 at 6 p.m. at the TCAT Portland Campus
Principals from the programs will also visit high schools across the county to meet with 10th and 11th grade students. Upcoming visits include Beech High School on October 27, Westmoreland High School on October 28, Portland and Liberty Creek High Schools on October 29, and Hendersonville and Gallatin High Schools on October 30.
