Sumner County EMS issued a statement to address and clarify recent rumors circulating about its presence in the City of Millersville. Contrary to claims that the agency has been “kicked out” of its station, the organization reassured residents of Millersville and Sumner County that these accusations are entirely false.
The EMS team continues to operate without interruption from a temporary facility located on the same property as the previous station. This relocation was not the result of conflict or eviction but was instead prompted by a directive from the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office, which found the previous living quarters unsuitable for occupancy.
Ensuring the health and safety of EMS personnel and the communities served remains the organization’s top priority. Sumner County EMS is actively collaborating with the City of Millersville to identify and implement a long-term solution that provides a safe, comfortable, and functional living and working environment for its crews.
The agency remains fully committed to delivering rapid and professional emergency medical care to the residents of Millersville and surrounding areas. Services have not been disrupted, and the team continues to maintain a presence in the city to respond to emergency needs around the clock.
