City leaders in Spring Hill are recognizing the importance of protecting children and supporting families by officially designating the month of April for awareness and prevention efforts.
The City of Spring Hill, TN – Municipal Government Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a resolution Monday night declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in the city.
Local organizations, including the The Davis House Child Advocacy Center and Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center, play a key role in these efforts. Officials say the groups work alongside law enforcement agencies to investigate and respond to cases of child abuse, while also focusing on prevention and providing support to children and families in crisis.
City leaders say the designation reflects an ongoing commitment to community education, early intervention, and the safety and well-being of children. They also emphasized continued partnerships with local organizations to raise awareness and address the issue throughout the community.
