The Beijing-inspired restaurant will host “A Dance with Death” on August 27, followed by “Til Death Do We Part” on October 15. Both events are presented in partnership with The Murder Mystery Company and will include a three-course dinner and interactive live performance in Philippe Chow’s Imperial Private Dining Room.
“We are so excited to welcome back The Murder Mystery Company for our next two dinner experiences,” said Director of Events Paige Dixon said in a release. “The first two shows were fun and engaging with a sold-out crowd, and we’re looking forward to two new themes to entertain our guests.”
The August 27 dinner, “A Dance with Death,” will take guests back to a 1950s sock hop gone wrong. When death hits the dance floor, guests will help solve the mystery and get the dance back on track. The menu includes Chicken Satay, Vegetable Dumplings, Philippe’s Signature Sweet & Sour Chicken, Nine Seasons Spicy Prawns, steamed white jasmine rice, assorted tarts and mini cheesecakes.
On October 15, “Til Death Do We Part” puts a wedding celebration in jeopardy when a murder threatens the big day. Guests will help solve the case before the couple can say, “I do.” The menu includes Pear Arugula Salad, Vegetable Dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken, Filet with Green Beans, steamed white jasmine rice, assorted tarts and mini cheesecakes.
Tickets are $80 per person and include dinner and the live show. Beverages will be available for purchase à la carte. Guests are encouraged to dress in theme, with prizes awarded for Best Dressed.
Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and the show starting at 7 p.m. Reservations are required and are available through OpenTable Experiences. The menu is pre-selected with no substitutions or modifications.
