Cara Wade of Sumner County Schools has been named Tennessee Science Teacher of the Year by the Tennessee Science Teachers Association.
Mrs. Wade is a 4th grade teacher at George Whitten Elementary School.
“Mrs. Wade teaches our young scientists to do anything they set their mind to from growing a garden that produces delicious crops, to building robots and coding on computers. Congratulations Mrs. Wade!,” Sumner County Schools said.
