Residents Displaced Following Hendersonville Apartment Fire

The Hendersonville Fire Department was sent to 1080 West Main Street shortly after 12 p.m. Saturday to respond to reports of an apartment fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke and flames coming from a building. Fire units were able to locate and extinguish the fire in 27 minutes. Units remained on scene performing salvage and overhaul.

HFD said crews were able to extinguish the blaze, adding that no injuries were reported at the scene.

Residents from two units were displaced by the blaze. Property management and the American Red Cross of Tennessee were on the scene helping those two families with relocating.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
