Mr. William “Bill” David Wiest, Sr, age 79, of Gallatin, TN passed away on June 30, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 13, 1942, to Lewis and Carolyne Carnevale in Bridgeport, CT.
Bill was a Connecticut State Police Officer as well as part of the Fairfield County Sherriff’s Department for over 25 years. He enjoyed target shooting and making airplane models.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ms. Virginia Wiest; sons, William Wiest Jr. (Dominique) and Brett Wiest (Pansy); grandchildren, Taylor, Brett Jr., Stormie, Ashley, Serena, Cassidy, Katlynn, Grace, Arianna, Kaybren, and Karsyn. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins.
A life celebration will be held at 1 pm, Friday, July 8th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 am-1 pm prior to the service.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a Fraternal Order of Police and Wounded Warrior Foundations.
