Wanda Faye Hanson, 80, of Lebanon, TN passed away on February 2, 2026. Born on November 23, 1945, she was a graduate of Lebanon High School. Wanda met her husband, Paul Hanson Sr. in Lebanon and shared a life together for over 63 years. As one of the first female employees, Wanda worked at TRW Incorporated (Ross Gear) for over 25 years.
Wanda leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her family was her world, and she showed her love not just in words, but in action, loyalty, and constant presence. She was a protector, a guiding force, and a steady anchor for those who were lucky enough to know her. Her lessons spoken and unspoken will live on in the generations she helped shape. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit, strength, and love remain woven into the lives of her family.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flora Lee Boner and James Lewis Pruette, and siblings James Raymond Pruette, Darlene Pruette, Linda Jewell Pruette, Virginia Belle Brewington, and Billy Wayne Pruette. She is survived by her husband Paul Anthony Hanson, Sr. of Lebanon, TN; her sister Nancy Paulk (Gerald Paulk) of Orlando, FL; and her only child Paul Anthony Hanson, Jr. (Dana Hanson) of Gallatin, TN. She is also survived by her grandson Matthew Anthony Hanson (Evelyn Hanson) of Hendersonville, TN; her granddaughter Macy Elizabeth Hanson of Nashville, TN; her great grandson Walter Anthony Hanson, and many other loving nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is Saturday, February 7, 2026, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
