Mr. Timothy Ray Bracey passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, he was 59 years old.

Tim was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. Tim loved playing with his grandsons, and he could always be found wrestling, playing baseball in the backyard, and watching shows with them.

He did a lot for other people and was always willing to drop what he was doing and help others. Whether it was helping his brothers and neighbors fix things around their homes or helping around his own house, Tim was, above all, a helper, and never missed a chance to help those he cared about. Tim was a very hard worker and was always the first to arrive and the most devoted person on any job.

Tim is survived by his wife, Cindy Lou Bracey; daughter Jessica Keene (Gordon), daughter Heather Nicole Hopper (Brandon), and daughter Kayla Ann Bracey; grandchildren Brandon Frank Barber, Alexis Danielle Barber, Tucker Douglas Keene, James Aaron Lamb, and William Connor Hopper; brothers Robert Charles (Chuck) Bracey and Darren Dwayne Bracey.

A Celebration of Life to celebrate Timothy’s life will be held at 1 pm on the afternoon of Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 am -1 pm two hours prior to the start of the service in the Hendersonville Funeral Home chapel.

Tim graduated from Maplewood High School in 1981 and married Cindy, his wife of 34 years, in 1988. His greatest joy was always playing with his children and grandchildren, and they will always remember playing Hot Wheels, wrestling matches that seemed to never end, and Nerf and water gun fights in the backyard. He never missed a chance to rile up his grandsons or make a quiet moment loud and joyful.

Tim was always present, and never missed a school program or an event. His fun-loving energy is what his family will miss most. Tim’s legacy will always be his passion and love for his family, which knew no bounds and was felt deeply by his wife, brothers, daughters, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tim’s name to Vanderbilt University Medical Center
