Mr. Dwight Mitchell, age 66, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away on October 10, 2021 at his home.
He was born February 20, 1955 in Scottsville, KY to the late Thomas David and Janice Sue Douglas Mitchell.
Dwight proudly served and was retired from the United States Army after 27 years working as a mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Michael Mitchell; and his brother, Michael Dewayne Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife; Ashley Mitchell; son, David Cortez (Angie) Mitchell; daughters, Brittney and Brianna Bushey; grandchildren, Dawson and Deacon Mitchell; his aunt, Martha Hunt; his mother-in-law, Linda Maddle; his niece, Bailey Woodard; and his great-niece, River Padme’.
Funeral services for Mr. Mitchell will be conducted on Thursday, October 14th at 1 PM from Strong Tower Church with Bro. David Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, Oct. 13th from 11 AM-8 PM at Woodard Funeral Home, and on Thursday, Oct. 14th from 10 AM -service time at 1 PM from Strong Tower Church.
