Terry Edward White, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022.
The funeral service will be Thursday, July 7th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Josh Darnell, Bro. Mark White and Susan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 7th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Bradley Cemetery, with Charles Dinwiddie, Jarod Roth, Cordell Burnett, Bill Donoho, Aaron Adcock, and Michael Alexander serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bradley Cemetery, c/o Gail Eller, 6870 Old Hwy 31-E, Westmoreland, TN 37186.
Mr. White was born November 15, 1947, in Lebanon to the late Edward Russell White and Mildred Templeton White. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Russell White. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynda Dinwiddie White of Gallatin; son, Mark Edward White (Juaneylla) of Texas; daughter, Susan Thurman (Chris) of Springfield; sister, Elaine Freeman (Carl) of Gallatin; and 4 grandchildren, Deborah White, Barbara White, Taylor Thurman, and Jackson Thurman. He loved drinking coffee at Ashley and Trixie’s where they called him “Superman”. Mr. White worked for Kraft Foods for 13 years and later retired from Hoeganaes Corporation after 31 years of service.
