Tammy Lynn Carpenter (Née: Crowder), a beloved Mother, Sister, and friend passed away at 6 pm in Gallatin, TN.

She was born August 30th, 1965 to Mother Edna Jean Sims, and Father Jimmy Clay Crowder.

She grew up in Castalian Springs, TN and spent her time riding horses, driving her beloved Jeep named the “Night Prowler” after the famous AC/DC song she adored, and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Edna Jean Crowder, Father, Jimmy Clay Crowder, Grandmother Martha Francis Sims, Grandfather Herlan Alvin “Buster” Sims, Nephew Jeffrey Sims.

She is survived by her brother, Jeffrey Scott Sims of Gallatin, Son Cody Clay Carpenter of Gallatin, Aunt Linda Hale of Cross Plains, Cousin Lisa Heyn of Cross Plains, and Cousin Misty Gregory of Franklin

Tammy spent her life in the food industry, working as a Waitress at locations such as; Stars & Stripes of Gallatin, Stratton’s Diner of Gallatin, The Three Sisters of Gallatin, and Old Glory of Gallatin, of which she spent many years in employment; bringing smiles and a pleasant experience to many whom she served.

Of her passions, Tammy had a great passion for rock music, Equines, and the video game series “The Legend of Zelda.” Some of her favorite bands included: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Ted Nugent, Led Zeppelin, and Van Halen.
