Sue Jones, age 74 of Gallatin passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 31, 1947 in Hartselle, Alabama to James & Mildred Hall Hamilton.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Dixie Motors before her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Theron Hamilton.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Mike Jones; son, Chase (Tonya) Jones, both of Gallatin, TN; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Breanna Jones, Erika Hodges, and Kayla Danielle Herman; great-grandchild, Addysen Lawson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hamilton, Decatur, AL; nephew, Bret (Georganne) Hamilton, Hixson, TN; special cousin, Jan (Steve) Thomas, Dallas, TX.
Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cross Plains, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 2021 11 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
