With faith in the Resurrection and eternal life, we inform relatives, godparents, and friends that on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her home in Hendersonville, in the Lord reposed Slavica Janic (née Lazic) July 18, 1978 – May 16, 2025.
Slavica was born in Ruma, Serbia, to her late father Dragoljub and mother Bosiljka Lazic. In 2007, she entered into holy matrimony with Dragomir Janic, with whom she lovingly and faithfully raised their son Marko. She was a devoted wife and mother, gentle and warm-hearted, full of understanding and love. She found joy in spending time with her family, loved reading spiritual books, and took delight in cooking for her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband Dragomir, son Marko, mother Bosiljka, sister Jasmina, and many grieving relatives, friends, and godfamily.
The funeral service will be held at the Church of St. Petka in Nashville on Monday, May 19, beginning at 12:30 PM. The casket will be open for viewing in the church from 11:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at the Hillcrest Cemetery in White House.
