Shirley Bradley Kittrell, age 87 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Sumner Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
A Sumner County native, she was born to the late Earl Bradley and Marjorie (Kemp) Bradley.
She was a graduate of Gallatin High School and went on to further her education at the Fall’s Business College. She had retired from Farm Credit Services, formally known as the Federal Land Bank, and was a member of Northfield Church. She enjoyed her monthly meetings with her former classmates at Cracker Barrel, her family, and gardening in her yard, cooking and sewing clothes for her family, and completing puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gray Kittrell, and a sister, Mary Jessee.
She is survived by her sons, Zane Kittrell and his wife Linda, Mark Kittrell and his wife Mirasol; grandchildren, Robert Carter and his wife Audra, Lindsay Jett and her husband Sean, Kelsey Kittrell, Leilani Kittrell, Grayson Kittrell; great-grandchildren, Jude Carter, Foster Carter, and Bear Jett; brother-in-law, Bobby Jessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Crestview Memory Gardens with Bro. Andrew Spivey officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Zane Kittrell, Mark Kittrell, Jude Carter, Grayson Kittrell, Keith Spivey, Rob Spivey, and Robert Carter.
