Sharon Rae Frazier Obit

Sharon Rae Frazier, 84 of Gallatin, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 2, 2024. She was born in Glasgow, Montana to the late Peter J. Carpani and Viola A. Nagode Carpani. She is survived by her daughters Melody Morris, Robin Proetta, and Alison Thompson; grandchildren Matt (Stephanie) Morris, Josh Morris, Dallas Morris, Grace (Christian) Johnson; great grandsons Arlo Morris and Luca Morris, sister-in-laws Marlene Carpani and Judy Shults and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas J. Frazier, and her brother, Ron Carpani.

Sharon’s faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She met her husband, Dallas, in California in 1958 and they were married that same year. They quickly moved to the south and made their home in Tennessee. She was a faithful and devoted wife who supported her husband in his career.

Sharon and Dallas both had a yearning for the country life, and purchased a farm in 1975. She dearly loved animals and with the farm life came many animals, but the goats were her favorite! She dubbed herself the “goat lady” of Long Hollow Pike.

Sharon was a woman of many talents. She became a dancer as a young girl, her specialty tap, and pursued it until marriage. She was an incredible seamstress, making many clothes for herself and her girls. She was a very resourceful woman stewarding her resources well – they never lacked anything. Sharon was very artistic, doing woodworking, cake decorating, furniture refinishing and could fix just about anything. Her family will never forget her beautiful cottage-style gingerbread houses and decorated Christmas cookies.

Sharon’s life exemplified her love for her Savior. Love was always found in her home. She lived to serve others, especially her family. She was a devoted mom and adored her three daughters. Spending time with the “grands” and “great-grands” was the highlight of her day. They had many adventures together exploring the farm. Sharon radiated the love of Jesus. She not only knew God’s word, she lived it. She always looked for the best in people and focused on the good. She had the gift of encouragement and was always building others up. She was truly a shining example of the Proverbs 31 woman.
