Sarah Maness Hall, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Mrs. Hall was born March 15, 1940 in Sumner County to the late Clifford Maness and Virginia Carter Maness.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charles Edward Hall; and brother, Charles Maness.

She is survived by daughter, Kimberly H. Jackson (Steven) of Gallatin; son, Lee Hall (Janice) of Castalian Springs; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Jackson; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hall worked as a Legal Secretary for Cliff Maness Attorney at Law and was one of the first women to work for the Gallatin Police Department in early 1960’s. She was a member of the local Elks Lodge for many years.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 30th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Rev. Eddie Colf officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 29th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday, September 30th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens with Ken Weidner, Tyler Racki, J. R. Robison, Bill Allison, Mike Dobbs, Mickey Summers, Bryan Allison, and Matt Robison honoring her as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Parker, Jim Ford, Don Foy, and Al Fleetwood.
