Mr. Rusty Meadors, age 41, of Hendersonville, TN (formerly of Westmoreland), passed away on October 27, 2021.
He was born on February 5, 1980 to Roger Meadors, Sr., and Jacky Meadors in Gallatin, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Meadors, Sr.; his brother, Jeffrey Meadors; and his grandparents, Virginia Brewster and Ethel & NC Whitefield.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Maria White Meadors; his step-son, Tristan Wyatt, and his daughter, Mikaela “Mickey” Meadors; his mother, Jacky Meadors; his sister, Chrissy (Chris) Whitfield; his brothers, Butch Meadors and Bubba (Kim) Wilson; his grandfather, Floyd Brewster; his nieces and nephew, Courtney Whitney, Kory Meadors, Meleah Meadors, and Allyson Whitfield.
Rusty was a graduate of the Westmoreland High School Class of 1998. He and Maria had been together for 10 years. He worked as a forklift operator for GXO Logistics.
Funeral services for Rusty will be conducted on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 1 PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Meadors, Jr, and Bro. Shawn Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradley Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Trent Street, Brady Troutt, Bubba Wilson, Josh O’Neil, Seth Henson, and Kory Meadors. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristan Wyatt, Mack Freeman, Mike Johnson, Jamie Parrish, Zack Troutt, and Ray Carter.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 11 AM-8 PM and again on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 10 AM -service time at 1 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
